This HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) is located in the Military Personnel Flight (MPF) with an Air National Guard (ANG) Wing, Mission Support Group, Force Support Squadron and is part of the CA 163 ATKW.

Duties

THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY), GS-0203-7, is to provide human resources services to Technician, Title 5, and Active Guard Reserves (AGRs). The position is a remote from the Human Resources Office (HRO) and embedded within the Military Personnel Section. The primary function of this position is to provide support and clerical assistance on human resource matters to commanders, line supervisors, managers, and technicians at the base or unit organizational level and to coordinate such matters with the HRO.

HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY), GS-0203-7: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-06 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: human resources program's business competencies, familiarity with the subject matter or processes used in human resources programs associated with DoD, U.S. Army, or U.S. Air Force, or similar human resources experience and perform other duties as assigned.
