This is a Program Analyst (Authorizing Official) position, the primary purpose of this position is to review all claims and supporting documentation to ensure the Claims Office has adequately addressed all eligible losses as required by policy, regulation and/or statute. The incumbent facilitates the implementation and delivery of claim compensation across all covered areas of loss by reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy and consistency with established Claims Office policies.

What will I do in this position if hired? This position is being hired in compliance with the Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon Fire Assistance Act to staff the Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon Claims Office within FEMA.

To qualify for this Program Analyst position at the IC-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.
