The NNSA Management and Budget team provides timely, cost-effective, and efficient administrative and financial support for NNSA Headquarters staff. The team designs and administers the corporate planning, programming, budgeting, and evaluation (PPBE) system, including supporting cost estimations and analysis of alternatives.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade level in the Federal service, i.e., NQ-03 pay band or GS-14.Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience managing the Federal budget cycle in compliance with Federal and agency mission requirements for formulating and executing resources. Experience developing and coordinating budget deliverables for the Federal budget process with program, functional, and field elements. Experience with budget formulation and execution, budget laws and regulations, independently performing budget formulation, execution, and oversight activities; identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex financial/budgetary problems; and researching, interpreting and applying applicable budget laws and regulations.
Examples of Specialized Experience:
1. Experience in financial management, understanding the Federal budget process and associated policies/regulations.
2. Experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques, skills, and methods to apply and complete evaluations and/or measurements of financial management program.
3. Experience communicating effectively to make recommendations, defend, explain, or promote assigned program initiatives.
4. Experience leading a team to ensure deliverables are completed timely and accurately.
