This position is located at Physical Fitness Facilities. Incumbents for these vacancies can be assigned to either the Fort Novosel Physical Fitness Facility or Fortenberry-Colton Physical Fitness Facility. Duties

Clean rooms, corridors, stairways, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, strip and polish using brooms, mops, lightweight equipment such as vacuum cleaners and lightweight floor scrubbers, waxers, and buffers. Dust, wax and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean, disinfect and deodorize bathroom and toilet facilities. Empty trash. Wash mirrors, walls, windows, and blinds.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
• This is a flexible position. Flexible positions have no guaranteed hours. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
• Must be able to push and pull items or carts weighing up to 20 to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

Must be able to follow simple oral instructions and use hand or light weight powered cleaning tools and equipment as described which generally require no prior training or previous work experience. Best Qualified Criteria: Three (3) months custodial experience. **Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and best qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official first. **
