Duties

Serves as a Management and Program Assistant, responsible for performing a variety of technical and administrative work in support of the Planning and Policy Division (PPD) supervisors and the PPD staff. Prepares supply and equipment requests and submits for action. Assists technical professionals in the preparation of contract and equipment procurement actions. Provides support to the senior Program Analyst, Workforce Management Support Specialist and Branch Chiefs by organizing, collecting, analyzing and managing information related to the current and future program/project workload for the organization. Interacts on a daily basis with various Divisions and Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC), as well as budget and program analysts, contractors, etc.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience performing clerical and administrative procedures as required in support of administrative functions, maintaining time/attendance records and budget adjustment for office and preparing office documentation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). This position requires the services of a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
