This position is located within the Fort Eisenhower Business Operations Division. Hours of operation will be identified upon interview with hiring official. Duties

Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and common areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using brooms, mops, lightweight equipment such as vacuum cleaners and lightweight floor scrubbers, waxers, and buffers. Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes bathroom and toilet facilities. Provides and replenishes toiletries and room condiments. Notes condition of room and report any conditions requiring maintenance or repair.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.

• Position, duty hours, location and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Applicant must be able to follow simple oral instructions and use hand or light weight powered cleaning tools and equipment as described which generally require no prior training or previous work experience.
