About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Log Readiness Ctr, Natick, Massachusetts.

Duties

Serves as subject matter expert, advising installation and senior leadership on Command Supply Discipline Program, Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army), and organizational supply management. Supervises the Supply and Services Division through subordinate supervisors, team leaders, contract site leads, or comparable personnel. Serves as policy advisor and subject matter expert on the evaluation of the effectiveness of the supply program Provides supply and service support to military, civilian, and contractor personnel assigned, stationed or within the Area of Support (AOS) of the installation

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and Maintain a Tier 1 (NACI) investigation.
• This position has been designated as "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the capability of the organization to function effectively.
• This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
• This position may require the incumbent to travel (TDY) up to10% of the time.
• This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
