About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W0U9AA US ARMY TRAINING AND DOCTRINE COMMAND.

Duties

Verify industrial security clearances investigations and provide information to visiting units/activities. Assist in conducting training for security managers on personnel security program requirements and procedures. Initiate re-investigations as required for collateral clearances and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access. Review derogatory information to ascertain the nature and severity and recommends action to higher level specialist.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Temporary duty (TDY) travel may be required less than 25% of the time.
