You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Nuclear Reactors Chain Management Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties
You will plan, develop, implement and manage effective Nuclear Reactor Program (NRP) product support strategies throughout the life cycle of material.
You will be responsible for resolving overall supply support issues related to DLA and NRP processes.
You will serve as the subject matter expert responsible for the management of DLA material support programs/processes and coordinating the collective efforts of peers in the Division.
You will ensure efficient procurement, management, and allocation of Government-owned parts inventories in order to prevent unnecessary procurements of such parts.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying knowledge of storage, distribution, requisitioning, disposal, budgeting, and procurement in order to support policies and procedures applicable to the Naval Reactor Program. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Resolving supply support issues for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and Nuclear Reactor Program (NRP) activities; 2) Maintaining a line of communication with other activities and agencies regarding NRP supply operations, policy changes, and development of automation processes to support the program; 3) Conducting research and analysis on Navy managed material; and 4) Ensuring product support outcomes through developing and implementing appropriate technical documentation packages.
