Qualifications

TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE FG-11 LEVEL, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FG-9 level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience includes: Experience working with IFPA AirNav, National Airspace System Resource (NASR) System, Aeronautical Information Portal, Airport Data and Information Portal (ADIP) to acquire, collect, evaluate, and compile aeronautical data associated with airports, NAVAID, weather systems, Air Traffic Communication Systems, and Visual Guidance Lighting Systems.OREducation Substitution: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. Experience working with IFPA AirNav, National Airspace System Resource (NASR) System, Aeronautical Information Portal, Airport Data and Information Portal (ADIP) to collect, evaluate and verify aeronautical data associated with airports, NAVAID, weather systems, Instrument Landing Systems, Air Traffic Communication Systems, and Visual Guidance Lighting Systems.TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE FG-13 LEVEL, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FG-12 level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience includes: Experience as a subject-matter expert providing high-level technical aeronautical and operational advice to other specialist related to aeronautical data and instrument flight procedures principles. Experience working with IFPA AirNav, National Airspace System Resource (NASR) System, Aeronautical Information Portal, Airport Data and Information Portal (ADIP) to evaluate and verify aeronautical data aeronautical data associated with airports, NAVAID, weather systems, Air Traffic Communication Systems, and Visual Guidance Lighting Systems.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.
