You will serve as a FIRE PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the Fire & Emergency Services division of COMMANDER NAVY REGION MARIANAS.
Duties
You will develop budgetary supporting data to ensure efficiency when purchasing new equipment and materials.
You will participate in the forecast of needed for equipment, materials, and supplies for the program.
You will develop training SOP's for fire protection and prevention, emergency services to ensure that personnel have the background and training to perform their duties.
You will coordinate with Accreditation Program Manager to schedule workshops and training sessions for Joint Region Marianas.
You will provide technical assistance to installations to ensure all accreditation requirements are completed.
You will develop and maintain positive working relationships with local municipal fire departments and Regional Fire chiefs to maintain liaison and firm working agreements.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
managing and overseeing assistance and recommendations concerning fire protection services (e.g. special operations, accreditation programs, budget, vehicle maintenance, inspection and schedules training).
Selectee must possess and maintain Department of Defense (DoD), International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) or ProBoard certifications: Fire Officer IV; Fire Inspector II; Fire Instructor III; Airport Firefighter; Hazardous Materials Incident Commander; Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC).
