You will serve as a Procurement Technician in the Acquisition Division of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE. Duties

You will track status of requisition, contracts, and orders using automated files. You will abstract information (e.g., dollar value, contractors) for entry into registers and computer database programs. You will gather and compile data for answers to routine and non-routine data calls. You will investigate customer and vendor complaints to resolve problems through records reconciliations.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-06 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Being proficient in the use of acquisition automation systems to include problem solving and information management. 2) Having an advanced foundation of administrative concepts and practices sufficient to enable the incumbent to observe impacts of administrative policies and procedures, analyze effectiveness, and recommend changes in administrative policies/procedures. 3) Being able to devise and install corrected or necessary procedures and office practices affecting the contracting organization.
