This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Pesonnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Fort Gordon is approximately 139 miles east of Atlanta, GA and 156 miles west of Charleston, SC

Duties

Prepare or reviews justification for planned excess actions including demolition, transfer of ownership, sale, exchange, or act of God. Provide real property accountability and real estate support to designated geographical areas. Ensure the Planned Programmed Event code for type disposal is entered in the automated system (e.g., General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). Review all in-grant and out-grant real estate documents in order to ensure properly updated automated and/or acreage, rent paid, rent received, term of use, etc. Conduct periodic inspections of in-grants and out-grants. Develop out-grant recommendations for command approval. Review real property holdings to determine underutilized facilities and/or land. Provide information in response to inquiries from the DA, MACOM, other federal, state and local government agencies, and the general public. Manage and assure all aspects of the Infrastructure Installation Status Report (ISR) Program is complete and uploaded into the database.

Qualifications

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in performing real property utilization inspections and property facility surveys. Experience entering and extracting real estate data in Federal Government real estate data base systems such as GFEBS. Experience completing complex real estate transactions and property management activities such as site approvals and conflicting uses of land and space. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
