About the Position: Position located at US Army Cadet Command 1st Brigade, Virginia Polytech Institute, Blacksburg, VA.

Duties

Serves as Project manager for the Army Accessions Information Enterprise (AIE) system, providing program/university level expertise to integrate requirements into AIE processes at all levels from program through Department of the Army. Provides expertise at both program and university levels to integrate requirements for recruiting and retention development and training into the AIE system. Collaborates with IT professionals, staff, subordinate organizations, and higher headquarters to develop processes and systems to integrate all functions into new or upgraded IT automation systems. Conduct mission analysis and liaison with representatives of Defense Agencies, DA staff agencies, PEO/EIS, TRADOC, other stakeholders’ accessions commands, SROTC Brigade and Program system users, and personnel in educational institutions. Maintains all required recruiting systems and leverages them to improve the efficiency of the recruiting process. Gathers information, identifies and analyzes recruiting program issues, and develops recommendations to resolve substantive problems of effectiveness and efficiency. Develops and executes a plan to generate and cultivate centers of influence (COI) and community leaders and educators (CLE) and manages them in the ROO Zone COI application. This includes documenting all interactions that occur.

  • Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 60% of the time.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
