This position is located at Department of Homeland Security, US Coast Guard, Deputy Commandant for Mission Support (DCMS), Director of Operational Logistics, Richmond Heights Base Miami Beach, in Miami Beach FL.
Duties
This position provides services to Coast Guard operational and support units to successfully accomplish their missions and to serve the public in their area of responsibility (AOR). The incumbent serves as a Housing Management assistant and performs a variety of assignments related to contracting, occupancy, maintaining and termination activities of government leased housing at the assigned locality.

- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- The position requires a valid state driver's license.
- One year probationary period may be required
- This position requires travel.
Qualifications
Applicant must have one-year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 Grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include: Preparing and submits leases, modifications, procurement requests and purchase orders for approval and signature; processing housing applications; Issuing routine correspondence concerning assignment to and termination of leased housing, lease contracts, modifications and renewals, utility notifications and lessor or occupant complaints; Receives and processes applicants for permanent quarters. Determines housing eligibility and requirements of applicants and counsels' applicants regarding the availability, type, size and location of quarters.
