This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC); Director, Utilities and Power Plant Operations; Rotating Operations Branch A, B, C or D. The selectee is a Control Room Operator Leader assigned to an operations shift. The workforce includes three Power Plant Operators/Operator Helpers and a High Voltage Electrician. The work directed involves the safe, efficient and effective operation and maintenance of boilers, chillers, cogeneration system and associated auxiliary equipment.

Duties

***The selectee of this position is considered “Emergency Essential Employees” and will be required to work in emergency situations and in inclement weather conditions.*** ***Tour of duty may include holidays, weekends and rotating shifts on a regular and recurring basis.***
