These positions are located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), House Office Buildings, Tenant Services Division, Carpentry Branch. The AOC seeks temporary wood crafters for the upcoming 119th Congressional Moves. Wood Crafters will begin November 2024 and terminate at the conclusion of the project.  Since office moves are scheduled 6 days a week, overtime may be required and will be mandatory.

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT required for this position:-- Ability to perform journey-level wood crafting or carpentry without more than normal supervision Your application must show that you have sufficient training and/or experience to perform the duties of the position as described in the vacancy announcement.
