About the Position: You will support Military Housing and Privatization Initiative (MHPI), one of the highly-visible national programs of Department of the Army (DA), providing real estate technical guidance for management and administration process of the privatization of military housing at various Army installations throughout Continental United States (CONUS), with different needs and resources involving ground leases and use of Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH).
Duties
Serve as a member of the Military Housing and Privatization Initiative (MHPI) Center of Expertise and primary real estate expert in developing/negotiating the Ground Lease and other related real estate documents at various Army installations.
Advise and participate in the complex and difficult closing and management process of bringing the plan to conclusion through real estate contractual agreements and instruments.
Monitor the administration of ground lease compliance at all MHPI installations and work closely with HQUSACE, DASA, ACSIM, Installation Management Command (IMCOM), Project Partner and Developers, Lenders, and other stakeholders to assure compliance.

- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 50% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience: Applying federal government real estate laws/regulations to accomplish real property conveyances through ground leases and/or deeds for military housing/lodging; Providing federal government real estate technical guidance for the complex development and/or management for the privatization of military housing; Developing new/unique realty principles or regulations approaches or methods for actions such as, acquiring, managing, or disposing of property or space.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
