Duties
You will be responsible for the management and operation of the SWFPAC Industrial Security Program.
You will interact regularly with onsite contractors operating on a DD254 and Visitor Group Security Agreement.
You will make recommendations to the Security Manager regarding federal regulations as they pertain to our Industrial partners.
You will conduct preliminary inquiries of security incidents as assigned and creating substantial and well written investigation reports to the Security Manager.
You will provide input to policies, instructions, procedures, control systems, and methods for Security Management programs as assigned.
You will oversee or prepare the Industrial Security Program for various inspections, assessments and inquiries to monitor program implementation and practices in support of SWFPAC.
You will conduct self-assessments to identify shortfalls or noncompliance, anticipates problems, and develop sound solutions and action plans to ensure program/mission accomplishment.
You will create solutions to diverse, highly complex problems across multiple disciplines of security and across multiple areas of operation.
You will participate in process and policy reviews, assessments, refinement or improvement as assigned.
You will provide review of security interests and feedback on RFPs, SOWs, DD254s, trainings, and other contract related activities.
You will utilize software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite to capture, organize, assess, and present information in a logical and professional manner.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires the incumbent obtain the following core Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification: Security Fundamentals Professional Certificate (SFPC) within their first two years of employment
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: interpreting, analyzing, and implementing security policies and procedures related to the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
