You will serve as a AVAILABILITY SCHEDULER in the Business and Maintenance Management Department of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.
Duties
You will maintain oversight and works directly as liaison with TRFB departments, upper echelon commands, and other maintenance facilities for all business and technical aspects of Pacific Fleet SSBN availability scheduling.
You will coordinate and negotiate with internal and external organizations to develop and refine short and long-range SSBN refit availabilities and schedules that meet operational requirements.
You will evaluate all aspects of SSBN maintenance as they pertain to availability scheduling to identify conflicts and develop Courses of Action (COAs) to mitigate risk to SSBN Operational Availability and Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) execution.
You will facilitate reviews of future availabilities and develops impact statements for emergent and routine availability schedule changes.
You will develop new, more efficient processes, recommending consolidation of redundant processes, and recommending discontinuation of inefficient or obsolete processes or products.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing, planning, or scheduling submarine maintenance availabilities, refits, or projects (e.g., workload/maintenance requirement forecasting or scheduling, determining manpower and material requirements, workload coordination and smoothing).
