You will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic Training Leader in the Temporary Services Shop (25D), Miscellaneous Services Branch (TRF 342) Waterfront Services Division (TRF-340), Repair Department (TRF-300) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will work with various shops/codes to determine, develop and administer mock-ups and mock-up training required for upcoming work.
You will order and maintain an adequate supply of qualification materials.
You will perform training related duties to include scheduling shop personnel for other command sponsored training such as fork-lift, man-lift, RADCON, rigging and Q.A. related training.
You will demonstrate proper work methods as required and ensure accurate completion of all documentation associated with work operations.
You will perform in shop manufacturing, assembly, disassembly, testing, repair maintenance etc. of equipment components required for temporary electrical, piping and other system services.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current IT Level II Designation certification.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position requires exposure to high noise levels.

1) Serves as a Maintenance Mechanic Training Leader responsible for instructing personnel in performing work which is typical of the
Temporary Services trade.
2) Conducts training sessions and instructs personnel participating in organized training programs and subject matter which covers all
phases of the Temporary Services occupations.
3) Researches, develops, and administers Temporary Services trade training as required by the Waterfront Services Division.
4) Reviews, maintains, and updates existing training course lesson plans for accuracy and technical changes.
5) Inventories and assures availability of pertinent equipment required during Temporary Services training operations.
6) Provides qualification and re-qualification training to all Shop 25D personnel.
