About the Position: This is a Military Technician with the United States Army Reserve Command. Duties

Prepare daily reports to monitor shop equipment database. Spearhead formal and informal training to the organization. Maintain accountability of administrative actions. Review inventory of supply operations for discrepancies. Organize shop tools to distribute appropriately to employees.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• THIS POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AS A SOLDIER IN THE U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR).
• May be required to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license in order to obtain a Government Motor Vehicle Operator's certificate.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves 1) utilizes automated systems to schedule and track repairs or work requests; 2) maintains supply logs or production control records; and 3) conducts inventory of supplies, tools, or parts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
