About the Position: Fort Stewart/Hunter AAF is a southern living station of choice with great climate, easy commuting, no parking fees, good schools, and many surrounding historic sites. Fort Stewart is located approximately 42 miles from Savannah Georgia, one of America's most picturesque and historically rich cities.
Duties
Supervise and/or provide oversight of disposal of Government real property such as; government property that owners may have defaulted on; Government insured loans, or leases expire; or as a result of police activity or litigation.
Plan and/or lead major projects such as acquiring thousands of acres of land; overseeing projects requiring the cooperation of the Federal, State, or local governments and/or private entities.
Preform required administrative tasks such as granting easements, issue loans, licenses, and/or permits for a variety of uses, both public and private.
Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates such as set and adjust short-term priorities, prepare schedules for completion of work; assign work to subordinates based on priorities.
Conducts audits of real estate transactions to insure the integrity of data and conformance with legal and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- A one year supervisory probationary period may be required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Current Department of Army Civilian Employees
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Experience using real estate principles, policies, and methodologies in property acquisition, management, and/or disposal. Experience monitoring and/or tracking easement and lease agreements for real estate. Experience conducting analysis of highly complex financial data pertaining to a real estate transactions. Experience using innovative marketing approaches for real estate. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
