You will serve as a Training Technician of SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL.
Duties
You will process training requests for all courses taught at all supported learning sites.
You will validate each request and course prerequisites of individuals using Fleet training programs.
You will document each approved request and provide detailed explanation to the requestor when seats are denied.
You will provide detailed responses to requestors regarding course information, geographic location of courses, reporting information and specific location.
You will initiate and prepare regular and advance load lists weekly for local schoolhouses as requested.
You will prepare status reports for the review of higher-level officials.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Processing/Validating training requests for all courses taught; 2) Reviewing records, forms, and files for accuracy and completeness; 3) Monitoring office supplies and preparing orders for supplies and equipment; and 4) Using Microsoft Office for preparing correspondence and creating tables and graphs. Have successfully completed four years of education above high school OR have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
