You will serve as a Program Manager in the Navy Munitions Command Pacific East Asia Division.
Duties
You will conduct formal and informal studies of Navy Munitions Command Pacific East Asia Division subordinate units and detachments safety program policies, mission, and operations.
You will initiate program assessments to ensure compliance with agency regulations, procedures, and management practices.
You will closely monitor and maintain liaison with the Naval Education and Training Command and NSC for safety training.
You will provide oversight of command safety training, provide monthly training to staff and coordinate safety training opportunities.
You will provide assistance and subject matter expertise in developing, revising, implementing, and monitoring safety practices, policies, and training/certification programs to ensure compliance with U.S. Navy directives.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing, implementing, or evaluating the processes and procedures of a safety program to ensure compliance with established organizational policies and regulations.
