You will serve as a LEAD HEALTH TECHNICIAN (AUDIOLOGY) of NMRTC CAMP PENDLETON CA.

Duties

You will prepare and submit reports to command. You will schedule classroom spaces and coordinate the enrollment of students. You will maintain current knowledge of directives, procedures, policies, and pertinent information related to hearing conservation technology. You will evaluate work performance of subordinates. You will perform daily calibration of test equipment.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

  • You will be required to posess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • You will be required to be immunized on an annual basis against Influenza.
  • You will be required to possess and maintain Audio Tech certification.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience installing, training, and troubleshooting problems in the DOEHRS-HC software. Experience evaluating work performance of subordinates. Experience interviewing, selecting, and recommending candidates for vacancies. Experience obtaining and reviewing medical and occupational history. Experience providing administrative support to include patient scheduling; accurate maintenance of logs and tracking systems.
