You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS (N4) of NSTC GREAT LAKES.

Duties

You will maintain supply databases for logistics information. You will explain programs or policies to individuals or groups to enhance understanding of program objectives. You will analyze and resolve supply problems involving supply processes, work methods, supply data management and operational procedures. You will monitor supply programs to identify possible systems support deficiencies.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Performing studies and analysis related to supply logistics programs in order to make recommendations and produce summary reports; 2) Assisting with records management for a logistics program such as supply, requisitions, and property accountability; 3) Utilizing the purchase cards and maintain the complete and accurate documentation with the uses of a PC and web-based software programs for agency purchases.; 4) Researching different databases and publications to extract data, resolve issues and recommend solutions; 5) Monitoring and analyzing supply logistics issues to ensure compliance and consistency in program execution. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree;
completed 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree;
LL.B or J.D.
