Duties
You will support RMF policy and documentation creation, review, modification, and enactment.
You will assist and consult with Deputy ISSM, Cybersecurity TPM, ISSEs, Validators and community on RMF activities and questions.
You will assist in the timely execution of any NUWC DET AUTEC system authorization POAM items.
You will attend NUWCDIVNPT Configuration Control Board (CCB) and provide inputs to proposed system change decisions.
You will assist Audit team and program actions to assist with inspections and audit related activities.
You will notify ISSM and Deputy ISSM of IT incidents and deficiencies in the system cybersecurity posture as they arise.
You will support the ISSM to counsel users on policies, procedures, and Cybersecurity/IT requirements.
You will support the enforcement of Cybersecurity and IT policies.
Requirements

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Systems Security Analyst level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
- This position is an IT-I Critical Sensitive Position requiring a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) per SECNAVINST 5510.30.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 pay band (GS-9 and GS-10 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying Information Technology (IT) security principles to monitor and evaluate systems compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

Education
Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
- A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management; OR
- Three full years (54 hours) of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management; or, graduate education that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
