You will serve as a OPERATIONS SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Security Division (Code 1110), Infrastructure Management Division (1100B),Corporate Operations Department (Code 1100), located at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
Duties
You will conduct extensive analysis of mission/program goals and objectives of importance to the command and subordinate organizations operating within the command’s area of responsibility (AOR).
You will coordinate the planning and development of the command’s OPSEC Program.
You will maintain functional reference files of official OPSEC records for use during emergency operations and for use during planning.
You will conduct organizational OPSEC training and ensure that assigned personnel are familiar with the significant contribution of the OPSEC process to overall mission effectiveness.
You will develop, implement, organize, coordinate, and oversee initial, recurring, and refresher SETA requirements; ensuring mandated SETA and command specific training and awareness requirements are met tailor the SETA program.
You will will assist in the Destruction of Unclassified and Classified Information, Command Signage and Parking Support Program,
Command Quarterdeck/Visitor Control Program, Command Mail Program, and Readiness Programs.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with the interrelationship of the various security functions within OPSEC, INFOSEC, Industrial Security, PERSEC, AT/FP and PHYSEC, ships movement within Norfolk or command related locations;
Experience implementing and managing OPSEC program standards and policy requirements;
Experience providing policy oversight and technical expertise to the command;
Experience with various security disciplines security industrial, personnel, physical, information and operations security is required in order to administer the SETA Security Education Program and communicate with personnel in other security disciplines;
Experience developing, integrating, and implementing solutions to diverse, highly complex problems across multiple areas and disciplines;
Experience utilizing tact, courtesy, diplomacy and the ability to gain cooperation from others is imperative.
Experience participating in meetings, conferences is essential;
Experience using security concepts, principles and practices in order to review, analyze and resolve difficult and complex command security tasks and over site problems.
