You will serve as a Special Access Programs Security Officer in the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center.
Duties
You will function as the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC) Special Access Program Facility Security Manager providing security oversight of operations within the Special Access Program.
You will ensure NAWDC Special Access Program facilities comply with applicable SECNAV, DoD, and National-level multi-discipline security policies.
You will provide for the accountability and control of NAWDC Special Access Program classified material/documents and Special Access Program material storage containers.
You will manage and operate a command-wide personnel security clearance and access control database.
You will maintain a close and continuous relationship with the NAWDC Special Security Officer and the NAWDC Command Security Manager to ensure essential personnel maintain up-to-date security clearances and background investigations.
You will courier or oversee the dissemination of Special Access Program material and equipment.
You will provide and oversee provision of annual security refresher training for applicable command personnel.
You will provide policy recommendations regarding Special Access Program security to senior staff decision makers.
You will ensure operations are in compliance with Department of Navy directives and policies.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing security operations (e.g. personnel, physical, industrial, information) and procedures to identify and resolve discrepancies for a security program.
