This vacancy is for an International Trade Specialist in the International Trade Administration within the Department of Commerce, in multiple rural locations throughout the United States. The primary purpose of this position is to lead rural outreach and trade promotion across the country through running the Rural Export Center (REC) and collaborating with employees.

Duties

As an International Trade Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Provide management for segments of multiple businesses, industries and international trade partners. Provide direction and integration of the contributions of senior trade professionals both within and outside the employing organization. Define and institute new methods and strategies which require agency-level awareness and endorsement. Plan and evaluate for current and future trade goals to enhance the U.S. trade position in one or more critical and high-visibility markets. Plan with sufficient scope to extend over several fiscal years and to demand substantial investment of resources.
