About the Position: Serves as District Workload Planner. Leads the development and management of workload plans for execution of civil works, military programs, and interagency support as well as Army and Air Force Reserves national support missions. Leads the process for identification of future workload across all district programs and functions and development of plans for execution of the workload through in-house offices, contracting, and/or support from other Corps' districts.

Duties

Review reports, documents, records, data, or other materials to verify completeness, correctness, consistency, compliance, or authenticity. Manage multiple project execution activities to effectively use project management automated data systems. Communicate with program managers, project managers, resource management and other technical functions on funding and resource requirements to accomplish a project. Develop alternative solutions to complex problems according to established guidance and procedures. Provide recommendation in coordination with district training coordinator, for district training priorities and plans based on functional assessments. Coordinate validation of workload projections and plans to ensure projection are realistic and plans adequately resource all functions/offices. Identify potential problems or concerns and establish corrective actions to alleviate adverse impact on the timely submission of work. Present plans and strategies to the district corporate leadership for effectively executing projected workload and potential workforce changes required based on projected workload.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Computer SkillsCustomer Service (Clerical/Technical)Oral CommunicationProject Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
