You will serve as the Procurement Manager for a New Construction Submarine Program in the Strategic Programs Undersea and Unmanned Support Division of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA.

Duties

You will manage $1B worth of material in support of a New Construction Submarine Program. You will be responsible for developing a tracking mechanism for all procured material. You will provide advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders to determining budget and material requirements. You will lead/perform site visits to view and inventory material. You will be responsible for determining storage locations and be familiar with policies and procedures on handling and stowage requirements. You will be responsible for inducting parts into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for visibility and reporting where applicable. You will ensure all program requirements under your purview are met. You will be expected to brief Program Office Leadership and all stakeholders.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing oversight in the planning and management of life-cycle logistics operations for an organization or program.
