Duties
You will serve as a receptionist overseeing day-to-day office functions.
You will produce documents, gather data, respond to data calls, disseminate and file electronic or delivered mail, pick up/deliver guard mail, duplicate and/or route documents, and process outgoing mail.
You will prepare, review, and edit standard correspondence, reports, and other technical documents, for grammar, spelling, punctuation,
format, and effective presentation of information.
You will organize, disseminate, and maintain computer-stored information.
You will make purchases below the micro-purchase threshold using the government purchase card.
You will prepare, process, and advise employees on travel documents, including travel orders, travel vouchers, itineraries, visit requests/security clearances, and invitational and foreign travel requests.
You will schedule and maintain electronic calendars for supervisors, conference rooms, and special events.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
DG-03:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-5) grade level or DG-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as a receptionist, overseeing day-to-day office functions; 2) Preparing, reviewing, and editing standard correspondence, reports, and other technical documents; 3) Organizing, disseminating, and maintaining computer-stored information; and 4) Scheduling and maintaining electronic calendars for supervisors, conference rooms, and special events.
DG-02:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-3) grade level or DG-01 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with receptionist duties; 2) Preparing standard correspondence, reports, and other technical documents; 3) Organizing and maintaining computer-stored information; and 4) Maintaining electronic calendars for supervisors, conference rooms, and special events.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience the following education and experience can be substituted for the following grades:
DG-02 - 1 year of General Experience or 2 years of post high school education.
General Experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
DG-03 - 4 years of post high school education.
Education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.
