There is a 2.63% (of basic pay) Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) authorized for this position location. Please see Nonforeign Area Cost-of-Living Allowances for more information. With PCS entitlement comes the eligibility for enrollment into the DoDEA School.
Duties
The selectee serves as an Intelligence Operations Specialist for the Sector San Juan Intelligence Division. Duties include collecting, reviewing, evaluating, interpreting, and performing first order analysis of law enforcement intelligence on all maritime threats for the Captain of the Port Zone and Area of Operations. This position will be required to produce intelligence reports, and disseminate tactical and operational intelligence to the Operational Commander, Sector Intelligence Fusion Center, Intelligence Coordination Center, and other Intelligence Community (IC) and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA).

Qualifications
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level (in the Federal sector). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include: performing duties such as conducting, researching, analyzing a wide range of raw information; determining which information is relevant; drafting assessments and briefings senior officials on their findings; analyzing of raw intelligence data; conducting human intelligence or law enforcement intelligence operations; writing intelligence collection reports and analysis; researching and analyzing intelligence topics; briefing intelligence topics in a public setting.
