This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Chicago Regional Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support to both the regional/area and field offices in their respective business functions, serving as a source for information management and system needs.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. GS-7: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 6 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing administrative and technical support in examination functions to generate ad hoc reports, or to assist in database development and administration.
GS-8: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 7 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing administrative and technical support in examination functions to generate ad hoc reports, to enforce information security policies, procedures and practices, to manage access and data resources for multiple users, or to assist in database development and administration.
