About the Position: This positions is located in San Antonio, TX. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.

Duties

Participate in crisis action planning in response to DHA involvement in contingency situations within the Networks Approve subordinate travel and monitors directorate travel budget Interpret regulations and guidance and examine local procedures and practices Ensure that adequate internal control systems are developed and operative so that government resources are efficiently and effectively managed. Oversee the work of contract staff supporting plans and directives development and administrative support.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
