This vacancy is for a Program Analyst position in the Communications Directorate (ADCOM) located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line - Suitland Station.

Duties
Serve as account manager and primary liaison to internal clients, providing them with an integrated and seamless exposure to ADCOM’s services and products.
Develop and execute comprehensive, strategic communications plans to accomplish client goals and meet audience needs.
Apply experience in understanding audience perspectives and mindsets to the services selected and delivered to customers. Evaluate decisions from an audience perspective to understand potential impacts.
Build and maintain sophisticated, customer service-focused relationships with internal clients. Select and execute outcomes that balance competing demands and prioritize regularly changing workflow based on real-time developments.
Plan, organize and facilitate ADCOM team and client meetings to stimulate efficient plan execution, track progress and create a forum for useful information exchange to pivot strategies and tactics based on positive and challenging developments.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: creating and/or executing of strategic communications plans; overseeing large projects with multiple moving parts that need to be choreographed and tracked with the ultimate goal and audience benefit in mind; ability to integrate many workstreams together into a holistic picture for teammates and clients, and demonstrated development of trusted client and/or stakeholder/audience relationships that produce measurable (quantitatively or qualitatively) results.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer.
