Information Technology Enterprise Program Management Office
The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.
Provides advice and feedback to the Director on critical, sensitive, or confidential matters. Serves as liaiso between the Director and top level management within the organization to promote control and improvement of work processes, quality of products, and compliance with policies, goals, and operating practices. Performs a wide range of support activities to include follow-up on important issues or projects.Communicates the Director's goals and objectives to advance labor-management relations.
Serves on special or large-scale projects or team efforts including other subject-matter specialists by providing multi-functional planning, organizing, and coordination of projects and activities related to broad areas of work processes, resource utilization, and integration of administrative programs and operations. Projects or studies involve providing expert advice, conducting research, overseeing efforts to evaluate plans and proposals of projects, assessing achievement of goals and objectives, documenting and presenting findings and recommendations, and providing implementation support for multiple sites.
Reviews trends and developments regarding various cross-functional programs. Analyzes new or modified requirements for impact on management policies and practices. Identifies critical issues and problems, resource requirements, constraints and coordination controls. Develops solutions, documents findings, and presents recommendations to the Director.
Qualifications
Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-12: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience include: Experience serving as staff advisor and liaison between management and appropriate functions on all matters pertaining to administrative and management issues; planning and coordinates programs, projects, or processes; assisting and acting in a confidential capacity to an official who formulates or effectuates management policies; monitoring organizational activities to ensure timeliness, consistency and completeness; experience reviewing responses, reports, and memoranda to develop consolidated responses on behalf of the organization; experience formulating a budget and monitoring budget activist to achieve organizational objectives.
