The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership, direction, and subject matter expertise to the office and its investigative, analytical, and administrative personnel.
Duties
The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Investigative Analyst generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
Recommend and advise the office Program Manager and office Director with planning requirements, problem identification/analysis, policy information, program development/evaluation and training.
Develop, implement and track qualitative and quantitative metrics used in workload analysis, time-management and scheduling, and performance/customer service reports and feedback.
Coordinate the intelligence products in collaboration with other investigative and intelligence-oriented agencies.
Utilize tracking and responding tools in conjunction with intelligence systems in order to track and monitor timeliness and accuracy of responses.
Develop partnerships with agency contacts in order to establish rapport.
Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust priorities, evaluate work performance of subordinates, give advice or instruction to employees, identify developmental and training needs for employees, identify ways to improve production or increase the quality of work directed, and establish deadlines and priorities for major projects.
Requirements
- You must be a United States Citizen or National.
- You will be required to complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening.
- You may be required to complete a one-year probationary or two-year trial period.
- Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after, December 31st 1959. Those not registered should have an approved exemption on file.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Supervisory Investigative Analyst at (GS-1805-15), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.
If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information).
Specialized Experience for GS-15: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as executing organization leadership, providing direction and oversight to a diverse portfolio and workforce; accomplishing administrative and human resources functions for the office, reviewing the work of others; managing a major agency program responsible for executing difficult or investigative cases from foreign police, Federal, State, and/or local law enforcement authorities.
