Duties

Provide Class VIII supply and services support necessary to maintain medical equipment readiness throughout the Army’s Operational Forces and Prepositioned Stocks. Recommend methods for enhancing efficiency of automated systems by adapting existing and/or by applying emerging technology. Assure that critical actions are integrated and properly executed in a timely manner to provide a cohesive approach to executing the medical Life Cycle Management Command's (LCMC) mission. Determine necessary revisions to overcome automated system deficiencies or resolve the situation. Analyze and recommend actions necessary to accomplish all logistics functions to include contracts, Government Purchase Card purchases, and stock control.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. You must successfully complete and pass a NATIONAL AGENCY CHECK WITH WRITTEN INQUIRIES (NACI, Tier 1).
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG).
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
