About the position: This position will be assigned to the Grissom Inn on Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana. The position is a regular part-time position, which means you are eligible for benefits and guaranteed to work at least 20 hours per week. Employees will be eligible for the use of the fitness center, lodging, and other activities. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts.

Duties

· Under direction of management develops schedule to ensure the Quality Assurance Evaluation Program is conducted in accordance with Air Force (AF) Standards.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience in the operational management of a civilian or military lodging program. This experience must have included supervisory responsibility, ( i.e., team lead level or higher of at least one functional area such as housekeeping, Guest Service, etc.) sufficient to demonstrate skill and knowledge in such areas as team building, customer service, staff scheduling, financial management, and human resources. Experience which shows potential to train others. A baccalaureate degree in hospitality or business is desired. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
