About the Position: Serves as a Program Manager in the Strategic Integration Group of the Army Civilian Career Management Activity (ACCMA). Acts as an advisor by reporting and providing staff guidance on all matters pertaining to assigned programs and projects.
Duties
Develops strategy, objectives, organizational processes, project initiatives and performance benchmarks.
Executes program management, analysis, and project management responsibilities in support of the Army People Strategy and Civilian Implementation Plan.
Identifies and defines problems, develops alternative courses of action, and accomplishes a variety of liaison, advisory, and consultant duties with key ACCMA personnel.
Analyzes statistical models and reports to conduct overall program evaluation and effectiveness.
Analyzes research studies and analysis to synthesize and interpret results in order to make recommendations, develop guidance, and adjust programs.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience which includes performing project management duties that include responsibility for formulation, development, analysis, preparation, presentation, control, coordination, and execution of one or more programs and projects which may include multiple management systems; various forums as part of the department-wide governance structure; policies, procedures, regulations; requirements and deliverables from a department-wide workforce implementation plan.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
