Duties

In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilitates and machinery. Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, using a variety of teaching methods to effectively communicate to participants who have a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. Plans, conducts, publicize and arrange support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.Provides leadership, guidance and oversight in program operations to include opening and closing the facility. Leads other employees, instructs staff with tasks received from supervisor, and distributes and balances work-load. Incumbent is responsible for group management. The safety of the participants must always be the number one priority. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Work experience, which involved dealing with general public. HIGHLY PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Experience in leading or supervising other employees.
