As a Cost Estimator (Interdisciplinary), you will serve as an Estimator for all types of projects, from prospectus level to small program level, and serve as the cost advocate for Public Buildings Service, Pacific Rim Region. This position is located in one of the following locations: San Francisco, CA, Sacramento, CA, Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Specialized experience is defined as experience preparing/reviewing plans, specifications, cost estimates of materials/labor involved in construction, repair/alteration of public buildings and major building systems. Experience must include: analyzing estimates; establishing negotiating position; reviewing complex proposals; providing consultation for Estimators/Project Managers; performing budgetary cost planning/calculations for prospectus submittals. This position has a positive education requirement: Applicants must submit a copy of their college or university transcript(s) and certificates by the closing date of announcements to verify qualifications. If selected, an official transcript will be required prior to appointment.
