This position is located in the Railroad Retirement Board's Office of Programs RUIA, Internet Support, Internet & Imaging Unit.
This job will be filled on a temporary, part-time basis for approximately one year.

Part-Time 20 hours - Temporary NTE 1 year/1040 hours.
This is a bargaining unit position. This position is represented by the Council of AFGE Locals in the Board.
Duties
As a Senior Imaging Analyst for the RRB, you will:
Lead, coordinate, and oversee employees assigned to carry out projects involving document imaging.
Develop specifications for new projects, plans to implement goals, coordinate testing, and schedule training activities for users.
Provide technical oversight of all aspects of assigned projects, including the technical system requirements.
Serve as a spokesperson for imaging projects.
Responsible for the overall imaging system by: distributing work and keeping in touch with the status and progress of work, making day-to-day adjustments in the workload; providing assistance, giving instructions in specific tasks, and reviewing work in progress; monitor workloads, deadlines are accomplished, and progress of work is reported upon.
Personally accomplish all modifications and upgrades to the imaging system.
Coordinate training to all imaging users and participates in the development of training materials.
Frequently called upon by supervisors, managers, department heads, and directors to handle special requests regarding imaging up grades and/or modifications to the imaging system.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen

- Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period
- Proof of ICTAP eligibility required
Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience planning, developing and implementing system upgrades to a government imaging system. This would include training and maintaining multiple applications, writing procedures, system requirements, defining business needs, testing program modifications, and creating training documentation covering processing and procedures for multiple applications.
Only experience obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.
Time-in grade-restrictions: Applicants who are current or former Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).
