Duties
Individually support a diverse range of complex projects and initiatives associated with formulation of operational strategies, project planning, and management, systems design, and systems development, data collection and distribution.
Serve as an advisor and principal point of contact for pilot leads regarding critical aspects of each assigned project.
Conduct complex and unique specialized in-depth studies, reviews, evaluations, and assessment of topical issues and proposals assigned.
Ensure that all software/hardware programs and project documents produced are compatible and compliant with current and planned projects/ programs objectives and goals.
Serve on MACOM/Higher HQ's Groups to resolve/review/discuss changes outside the scope of program and/or projects.
Prepare variety of comprehensive status reports, management summaries, and briefing papers which identify problems, assess overall condition of work completed or in-progress, and outline, issues, solutions, and recommendations for Project Manager.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires a Secret security clearance.
- Business Travel (TDY) may be required up to 25% of the time.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT and L) Workforce position in Program Management.
- Two year probationary period may be required if not previously served.

Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Providing project/program management advice and counsel for a diverse range of complex projects and initiatives; 2) Conducting studies to review and analyze operational strategies and project planning; 3) Communicating (oral and written) with senior level leaders and staff within an organization and with external customers in order to provide information and guidance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
