This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Associate Director - Chief Information Officer. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying/monitoring program requirements/plans in direct support of the Center for Excellence. You will play a key role in coordination with representatives from across the Center for Excellence (CE) and serve as analysts/advisors to management to evaluate of the effectiveness of CE programs and operations.
Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
As a/ Management and Program Analyst, you will:
Oversee administrative procedures related to activities such as information processing and documentation systems for reports, data collection, correspondence, record keeping, information dissemination, and technical presentations.
Direct the use of job profiles, to identify the required skills, competencies and training for employees, and documentation in training profiles and competency models.
Update applicable policies and procedures to related reference training profiles.
Oversee the review of informal (on the job) training to ensure consistency across the directorate and evaluates for inclusion in the formal training program.
Determine applicable training Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the training program (training profiles and competency training) and establish a reporting mechanism for Management Review.

Specialized Experience or this position includes:
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as:
-Experience in program management AND
-Developing comprehensive plans and strategies to recommend solutions AND
-Meet organizational goals.
Examples include:
-Experience using analytical and evaluative techniques to analyze and assess administrative and/or technical programs.
-Experience managing a training program.
-Experience communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, authoring briefings and/or reports to disseminate program milestones to stakeholders and senior leaders.
-Experience providing guidance to a team ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.
For the GS-12, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service.
Specialized experience is defined as:
- Reviewing regulations, directives, rulings, or other guidance to determine their impact on existing programs and recommend implementation actions. AND
- Evaluating program data and trends to assist in identifying potential issues and recommending solutions or alternatives. AND
- Presenting trend analysis data based on program data.
Examples could include but are not limited to:
- Experience using evaluative techniques to assess administrative and/or technical programs.
- Experience working within a Work-Life program.
- Experience communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, authoring briefings and/or reports to assist in disseminating program milestones.
- Experience working on a team that ensures alignment with program goals and objectives.
