Duties
Conduct all basic operations within the Map Support Office (MSO) in support of distribution of all standard stocked Geospatial Information and Intelligence Services products.
Account for issue, receipt, and salvage of all Aeronautical, Hydrographic, Topographic, and Digital products using an automated database.
Responsible for the training, designation of mail orderlies and clerks, and record keeping of all registered mail.
Analyze data concerning stock status of items and project requirements for depot stocks and operations, as well as determine types and quantities of line items necessary to meet programmed and authorized needs.
Initiate appropriate method of procurement or re-supply necessary to support programmed and contingency programs.
Certify supplies and services have been received and verify purchases are authorized IAW Federal/Agency regulations and procedures.
Conduct extensive and exhaustive searches for required information and reconstruct records for complex supply transactions.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supply Technician, GS-2005-07, your qualifications must include:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-07 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Maintain inventory for all office, warehouse, and packaging supplies for office.
Conduct periodic inventory of products to ensure correct edition and quantity.
Work with Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to correspond, compose correspondence, memorandums, and reports within set agency regulations.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
