About the position: This position will be assigned to the Rocker's Bar and Grill on Minot AFB. This is a Flex position. Intermittent (Flexible) employees have no guaranteed hours but may work up to 40 hours per week.

Duties

Carries supplies and equipment, such as liquors, fruits, ice, glasses, linens and silverware from storage areas to the bar. Slices and peels fruit. Fills ice bins and crushes ice. Washes and cleans bar glasses, bar equipment and keeps the work area clean and neat. Replaces empty beer kegs with full kegs with the aid of a dolly; stocks beer coolers. Wipes down the interior and exterior surfaces of coolers. Helps in setting up service bars and portable bars. Carries debris to waste containers. May serve bottle beer, soft drinks and draw beer from kegs. Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• Satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
• Must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training.

Ability to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, pull and push objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to and over 40 pounds. Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
